Do you remember the satisfaction of solving a math puzzle? 🧩 I’ve always been drawn to them. There’s a comfort in primary math—one or two variables, a clear theorem, and a definitive solution. But as I moved from algebra to trigonometry, and then into the real world, I realized something terrifying: Life is a puzzle where most of the variables are invisible. Those abstract scribbles in my notebook weren't just attempts to solve a math problem; they were early training for navigating ambiguity. When simple guesswork stopped working for life’s complex situations, I realized I needed a new toolkit. 🔹 The Oasis of Psychology: I stepped away from pure numbers and toward psychology to understand the "why" behind the "what." 🔹 The COVID Pivot: The pandemic pushed me toward abstract mental frameworks. Yuval Noah Harari gave me the macro view (Sapiens to AI), while Daniel Kahneman is still teaching me how my own brain trips me up (I'm still digesting those advanced frameworks!). Now, we are in the deep end of the VUCA world of 2026. The first few days of this year raised more questions than answers. The fog is thick. To navigate it, I realised I need to understand not just how individuals think, but how desire and imitation shape our world. That’s why my 2026 focus is René Girard. His work seems to be the hidden operating system behind many global leaders' thought processes today. I’m starting to connect new dots, hoping his insights will help remove some of that fog. I'm thrilled to explore this and will share my learnings as I go. meantime , if you have any thoughts about Rene Girard , look forward to hear from you ....
